Stop Expecting Your Dream Body in 3 Months

Charlotte Bianco · The Reborn Method

I’m going to say something that might be unpopular.

Stop expecting your dream body in 3 months.

I’m tired of seeing transformation posts online. 1 month. 2 months. 3 months. And while those results might be real for some people, they are not the norm. Not for everyone. Because everyone is at a completely different stage of their life, their body and their journey.

The most common question I get from my clients is “how long until I see results?”

And my honest answer is always the same, it depends. It depends on how consistent you are, how your nutrition looks, and most importantly how your mindset is.

In 3 months you will feel a massive shift. You’ll move differently. You’ll carry yourself differently. You may see some physical changes depending on how hard you go. But stop expecting everything to transform in 90 days. That’s not realistic. And chasing that timeline is what makes most people quit.

Here’s what the science says.

Research on long term body composition change shows that sustainable muscle building happens at a rate of roughly 0.5 to 1 pound of muscle per month for women, even with consistent training and optimal nutrition. That means meaningful visible change takes 6 to 12 months minimum. Studies also show that people who focus on performance goals, getting stronger, moving better rather than appearance goals are significantly more likely to stick with exercise long term and report higher satisfaction with their bodies.

The longer you stay consistent the more your body compounds. Just like money in the bank.

See the longer picture.

I know vanity is pushed everywhere. A good body is what we’re told we need to have. But what if instead you trained for you, for your mental health, for your future self, for the version of you at 80 who wants to pick up her grandkids without pain?

Can we train to be able to travel for the rest of our lives? To not be restricted? To feel strong in our own skin regardless of what the mirror says?

Your mindset in all of this will determine how good you feel in your body. The physical results are great. But the mindset of building a body that lasts, that is what will make you the happiest.

I lived this firsthand. At first it was purely physical for me. I thought looking a certain way would give me confidence. And I got there and it still didn’t change a thing. I wanted more. It was never enough. The real shift happened when I decided to build a body that fit MY body. When I started training with intention instead of punishment. That’s when I finally felt good in my mind and in my body at the same time.

If this is you, I want to help.
